Your local pharmacy is working in partnership with Digi.me to to help the EU funded “My Health My Data” project find suitable people to test their innovative smartphone app which aims to enable individuals to participate more easily in health research. Ultimately we hope this will help improve medical science and treatments available to the NHS.
In return for testing the app and giving feedback via a short online survey there is a £35 Amazon gift card for the first 100 people that complete the survey by Tuesday 17th December!
The process involves you linking with your GPs online account so you can choose what anonymiseddata you may be willing to share with relevant research projects.
You don’t necessarily need to be on any medication as this exercise is mainly about testing the usability of the app. You can only connect your health record if your practice uses EMIS Patine Access for their onine services. App user testing opportunity for £35 Amazon vouchers
To participate you will also need an android smartphone (sorry no iPhones!) and have access to your GPs online services PatientAccess(or are willing to register for it - this involves showing ID and proof of address to your GP reception and filling out a registration form).
Once registered you will be emailed full instructions.
